A Glimpse of Wedding Culture; Fun Unlimited (Part II)

Hey guys,

How you doing? What's up? This week has been crazy fun for me. You might know about Yes!+. I have talked about it here. The week was hectic and fun as well. The sad part is that this was the last Yes!+ and all I could do was spend as much time as I could. So, I am sorry for the late post.
I have shared about the first day here. The second day of marriage is a fun-filled day. The groom side organizes a grand party for all their relatives as well as the relatives of the bride. The family of bride come to groom's place with lots of gifts for the family members including clothes and gold ornaments. After they have completed the gift giving ceremony, they get busy meeting the guests ( and receiving gifts as well :) ). And after everyone else has the meal, the fun begins. Yeah!!! The party begins. People get on the dance floor. After the party is over, the bridegroom are taken to bride's home for one night stay. Overall, the day is full of fun.
On the second day, most of the young and unmarried girls are found in Western attires while the married woman wear sarees. The married ladies come out in colorful sarees on this day. (You must have noticed that on the first day, most people wear red dresses). I chose to wear a striped chiffon shirt and paired it with a high-waist black jeans. I wore a blazer and put on the black pumps (my all time favorite). I tied my hair for a more sophisticated look. Please, do tell me how I look.

Have a great day people.
Big kisses!!

A Glimpse of Wedding Culture; Fun Unlimited (Part I)

Hello fellas,

Hope you all are having rocking time. I can guess. With summer approaching, you all must be ready with your comfy shorts and dresses, aren't you?
Now,let me tell you. I just attended wedding of my relative. I feel really embarrassing to tell but the guy who got married is my 'SON' in relation. Can you believe it? And after all, I am mother of more than 10 people, most of them being older than me. LOL :D Relations are complicated and in our country it's more than just complicated and it's fun.
Wedding in our country is a two days celebration. This time I'm gonna share what the first day is like. The relatives and family members of groom go to the bride's place and the whole mass of people is known as 'Janta". They go there and celebrate and have delicacies as well that the bride side has offered. While the bride-groom were busy with the ritual, we relatives have fun and you will see how much fun in the pictures. Red is considered to be good when it comes to weddings and I also went for the same. You can see me in the red Kurtha. You can guess the amount of fun I had,so much fun that I even forgot to click my single photo. Don't forget to share what you think of the pictures lovely people.
Now,here are the pictures.

My sister, mom and me ( Left to right)

Have a great day!!
Big Kisses!!

I never thought I would be in love like this,
When I look at you, my mind goes on a trip.

No, I’m not humming any song right now, these lines really have become the reality of my life. I really had my mouth wide open and my mind gone insane having the sight of Guruji.  I never thought that I would be engaged in a spiritual organization like Art of Living and that too, like a devotee. I never thought that it was my cup of tea. I never thought that I could have such immense faith on anybody like I have today on His Holiness Sri Sri Ravi Shanker Guruji. The utmost respect that I have for him can’t be described in words.

Today was a great day indeed. I don’t want to understate the value of Guruji. I must say today was the GREATEST and BEST day ever in my life. Can you imagine having the sight of Guruji? Yes, Guruji was right in front of my eyes and I don’t know how to describe the feeling that I had. I was really awestruck and there was sheer emptiness in my mind at the very moment. My exams are going on but I couldn’t dare to miss the presence of such divine personality. Lucky enough to have a glimpse of him just after a week of completion of course, I was really amazed to see the simplicity in him. With no pride on himself or prejudice on anybody, he is the living God. His mission of spreading love has come to its peak.

Aaahhh!!! The moment I saw him was just so amazing. I could feel my heart pounding loud. I somewhere think that the people around me must have felt the loud murmur of my heartbeat. I think the sound that my heart was making was louder than the cheering voices of all the people present there. I had goose bumps all over my body. I was literally shivering.  Resplendent in white attire, he is really a world leader of peace, love, brotherhood (sisterhood as well J), selflessness and the list goes on and on. The videos that we were shown during the course period best described him as a childish person with a greater intellect and a broader vision. Seeing him today, I fully agree those descriptive words. Having such love and affection towards all the people in the globe is not that easy unless that person is Guruji. He has such hypnotizing smile that once you see him smiling you will RISE in love with him. Yes! You don’t fall in love with him, you’ll rise in love.

I will always cherish the day as today has been the best day ever in my life.

Lots of love, immense respect and my heartfelt gratitude to Guruji!

P.s. Will be back with outfit post soon.

Have a great day!!

A Little Step Towards Spirituality!!

Hey people,

As you might know, I have exams lately. I don't wanna talk about it though. I can't resist but share an amazing experience with you all. I am taking spirituality classes. Well, now how many of you believe in spirituality? I didn't believe in it at all till last week but the classes have changed my view. The classes are so much fun and inspirational that one will get attracted towards the classes if you once attend. The organization named "Art of Living" teaches us to live as happily as we ever wanted. The classes are just so amazing. If you ever get a chance to join Yes!+ course conducted by the organization, don't ever dare to miss it. You'll get a life-time experience and will never be sad anymore.
Yet another thing I missed to say, my Grade 11 results are out and I obtained 84%.
Well, well, well, lots of nonsense talks right? Now I am going to share my pictures with you. I wore a striped top with the denim pants that was love at first sight. What do you think of the pants people? The shoes are spiked ballerina, sounds funny right? I wore a jacket that I have here

What do you think of the outfit, people? I apologize for the quality of pictures. My sister took them and as you can see she ain't a very good photographer.
You may participate in my giveaway HERE.

Have a great day!!

Wish Snow Falls!!

Hello lovlies,

It's been ages since I made my last post but I hope that you still remember me, don't you? I was kinda busy with my college assignments and exams. I hope you do understand. I don't wanna talk all these nonsense now but yeah, I feel like I have got to share. I nearly forgot to wish you HAPPY NEW YEAR 2014, though am late.
Now, lets come to the topic. The winter season has already stepped in and it's very cold in our country. I wish there was snow fall in my place too, but it never happens. The last time snow fall occurred was about 7 years ago. Aahh!! Long time, isn't it? The day was perfect though. It was February 14, how romantic??? This time I am sharing with you the pictures of mine, of course, while I was away with my parents to my uncle's home. I wore a comfy big jacket that makes me seem a lot healthier ( can't use fat here) than I actually am. I paired it with a colorful pant and black heels. For me, I love pairing colored bottoms with neutral tops and shoes. What about you?

What do you think of my look? Be sure to comment.

You can participate in my Rosegal Giveaway HERE.
Have a great day!!
